March Scrap4aCause!

Yep, we just finished one and the next one is just weeks away! Our next Scrap4aCause is sponsoring Sister Care's Birthday program! We will be collecting any items that can be used for kids birthday parties...check the list at the side! Our events are filling up rather fast these days so please call today and pay for your spot so we can get you on the list before it is too late. We are trying something new this time and not serving any meals. We will serve drinks and snacks on Saturday and Sunday along with free make n takes, prizes, and lots of fun. Friday will still be a no frills Friday with just drinks and lots of scrapping! Hope you can join us!

Here we Go Again!

Scrap Pink was a HUGE success and we are already making plans for our first Scrap4aCause of 2011! Our first Scrap4aCause of 2011 will be January 21-23. We have a new charity in the works...the Children's Theater of Columbia! Stay tuned for more information about what you can donate but for now...GET SIGNED UP! Scrap Pink was beyond full 6 weeks before it even happened so word has gotten out that we have a good time at crops! Follow the PayPal link on the right to pay and you will receive an email with a registration form to fill out and send back ASAP. You are also welcome to pay in the store with cash, check or charge or you can call and pay over the phone. As usual we will have a special surprise for the first 20 people to register! Prices are the same as our Scrap Pink event...$15 for no-frills Friday, $30 a day for Saturday and Sunday or you can pay a flat rate of $65 for all three days! Hope to see you there!

Well it seems that the creators of Scrap Pink haven't gotten very good reception in the last few years so they aren't posting official Scrap Pink events this year! No worries though, we will scrap on and make our mission that much more important! We have created our own logo and we have a lot of great ideas up our sleeves starting with t-shirts! Our logo is being approved and we are working on the best deal we can get. Stay tuned for ordering info so you can have your shirt before our big event! In the meantime, here is a peak at the logo:


One of the big ways that we will earn money for this cause is through our silent auction. If you would like to donate something for the auction please let me know! We would love help with this! While we will not have vendors at the crop you are welcome to drop off business cards, prizes, etc for each scrappers goody bag and please plan to add something to our silent auction table in return for advertising. Call the store for more details about how you can get involved with this very worthy cause!

WOOHOO! Another Scrap4aCause!

Alright ladies, here we go again! Out next Scrap4aCause is right around the corner and you don't want to miss out! Summer time is a tough time for Harvest Hope Food Bank so they will be our charity. Remember that each item that you bring to donate gives you one more ticket in the grand prize drawing bucket!
This crop has a little change to it. We will go for three days (July 9-11) but this time Friday is a no-frills, come as you are, scrap your little heart out kind of day. Cost is only $15 and we will not provide any meals or prizes or make n' takes. Just hard core scrappin'. You will get your 6 foot table and drinks and the rest is up to you! We open the doors at 12 noon so if you need to make an appearance at work you will be set!
Saturday (9am-midnight) and Sunday (9am-10pm) will be our regular fabulous all out scrappin' fun! Your $40 per day includes lunch and dinner, free make n takes, a 6 foot table to work at, prizes and prizes and more prizes, a grand prize Saturday night, chocolate extravaganza on Saturday night, access to our Cricut and library of cartridges and just a whole lot of fun! We only have 65 spots available and they are already filling up fast so get signed up today before it is too late! Get Signed Up!

Our Cause!

Many of you have been asking about our next charity so let me tell you a little more. Rolling Readers is a fabulous volunteer group that works to enhance the literacy opportunities of children all around Columbia and South Carolina. Their volunteers tutor young readers, pass out books to those in need, and provide mentoring to young readers. While they are happy to except any books that we might donate, they are in great need of middle level readers...books for middle school kids. Most book stores can tell you where to find those. Used books are fine but please make sure they are in good condtion. These are gifts for kids that don't have books of their own so we would like to give them the best we can. If you are in search of a place to buy good books at a low cost try Books a Million. They have a great selection of value books that start at less than $1! Now that's a deal. As usual you will get one extra name in the hat for the grand prize for each book you bring in!

Scrap4aCause in March!

Our last Scrap4aCause was such a HUGE success that I have the calendar planned out for 2010! I just got the date approved for the first one of the year so sign up now! We are making a few changes for the coming year so read below to find out what to expect. Things are just getting better every time!

*The crop will be held March 5th & 6th, 2010 from 9am-12am (Friday and Saturday)!
*Coffee, donuts, lunch and dinner will be provided as well as snacks and drinks along the way!
*Prizes will happen every hour with grand prizes both nights!
*Each cropper will have a 6 foot table to work at!
*Classes and Make n Takes will be offered both days! Stay tuned for more info on classes!
*Cricut and numerous cartridges are available for use!
*Vendors will be on site selling all sorts of goodies!
*Cost will be $40 a day if you sign up by January 15th! After the 15th the cost will go up to $45 a day!
*Space is limited so if you want to get in on this fun you need to sign up soon! We only have 80 spots! (Remember - we had 121 people at the last crop!)
*Vendors: Download Vendor Registration form here and send it in ASAP as vendor spots will fill fast!
